Course: TKT 8703: Trends & Issues in Instructional Systems & Technology
Role: The poster was a team project between two students. The roles I played in this poster were: researching articles, completing the abstract, objectives, history, and trends sections. Also, I helped with the design of the poster by researching and selecting the MSU logos. My teammate did overall design in PowerPoint.
Skills Involved: teamwork, communication skills, researching library databases, critical thinking skills, academic writing, APA style
Key Features: This is a research paper that was converted into a poster.
Reflection: While working on this poster; I learned how to summarize what could have been a 10-page paper into just a research poster. Also, my collaboration skills improved. Reflecting on this poster, there are some minor things I would do differently. In this design, I would pick a more professional color blue and change the Facebook logos to match. Since I know more about design, I would choose better colors for the poster. Also, instead of using two MSU logos, I would use one or create a watermark to add more color to the poster. This poster turned out well. I learned a great amount of information. This poster was also presented in the classroom. This poster was created in the course title Trends & Issues in Instructional System & Technology.
